Our Patients

Madison Park is a boutique practice in New York City. Our patients typically live or work in Manhattan, and come from a wide range of backgrounds and industries. Our patients are motivated and demand high-quality therapy from therapists who know what they are doing. And, because our practice specializes in developing our therapist's clinical abilities, we attract patients who want individualized care from expert practitioners.

Working at Madison Park

Unlike many other group practices, we don't run on a fee-for-service model. Our therapists receive a salary, with excellent benefits, including generous vacation and sick leave, healthcare, access to vision and dental coverage, and an HSA plan.

We strongly encourage in-person psychotherapy and expect the majority of your time to be spent in the office. This is not only beneficial to patients, but helps cultivate a collegial environment where practitioners can learn from one another. Our goal is to provide therapists a place to develop their abilities, hone their skills, and become experts in the field.

Our Scholarship Program

New York ​is one of the great psychotherapeutic hubs of the world. As a result, the training centers are world-class. Madison Park has strategically partnered with several institutions in order to ensure our therapists are capable of effectively treating patients with a wide variety of treatment goals. 

​

All of our therapists are enrolled in a training program of their choosing, the cost of which is covered entirely by Madison Park for the duration of their studies. Therapists are encouraged to achieve a terminal certification in the treatment of their choice. 

​

Therapists are expected to provide presentations on topics of their choosing to the team in order to familiarize those pursuing other specialties with basic practices of each specialization. Mentorship by senior staff therapists is provided throughout the training process. The goal is to foster a professional atmosphere in which to develop professional skills.

​The Hiring Process​

We are highly selective, valuing excellent therapists over a particular educational background or degree type. Candidates will submit an application including their C.V. and a cover letter stating their experience, any past trainings or certifications, personal and professional goals, and why they are a good fit for Madison Park. Successful applicants will be invited to an in-person interview. ​​

 

We welcome applicants with any of the following NY State licenses: LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD, LMHC, and LCAT. New graduates or those in the process of applying for licensure are welcome to apply.​​​
